Authorities are launching a search for Neyland with the help of drones and a police dog after his loved ones reportedly alerted authorities to a potential crisis. We’re speaking with his girlfriend. She’s trying to call his agent, but we’re telling her to call him first, but she’s saying he’s armed and has a history of mental illness. And she was like, “He’ll end it all.” About three hours later, authorities found Neyland’s body.

Neyland was a 2024 second-round pick from Western Michigan.
